The following tickets are for the DOWNHILL and SLIDE JAM/FREERIDE DIVISIONS of the 3rd annual Central MA longboarding event. If you plan to participate in only DOWNHILL or SLIDE JAM, purchase the tickets separately; if you plan to participate in both, you must purchase both tickets.

Event schedule 

• 8:00 AM: Rider check-in, equipment checks, waivering 
• 9:00 AM: Practice runs start
• 10:45 AM: First DH heats
• 2:30 PM: End of DH; Beginning of slide jam
• 5:00 PM: End of Slide Jam; Road re-opens
• 5:15 - 5:45PM Podium awards

WAIVER: Riders must fill the waiver found here before being allowed to ride. MINORS must have parent / legal guardian signature. IF PARENT CANNOT ATTEND IN PERSON, PARENTAL SIGNATURE MUST BE NOTARIZED BEFORE THE EVENT. Riders with no or insufficiently signed waivers will not be allowed to participate.

FAQs (age, parking, etc.)

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

No, all ages may participate; Riders under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign off on the waiver. Friends' parents or siblings do NOT count - only riders with waivers signed by parents will be permitted to compete, and the parent's signature must be witnessed by event staff. IF PARENT / GUARDIAN CANNOT ATTEND, THEY MUST HAVE THEIR WAIVER SIGNATURE NOTARIZED AHEAD OF TIME!

What are my parking options getting to the event?

Parking is to be along Mass Ave. There is parking space alongside the entirety of the road between the Harvard General Store (1 Still River Rd) and Pond Rd. See map HERE. Do NOT park in the General Store parking lot, as this is customer-only parking. There will be signage indicating so, and staff members directing riders where to park. Once on-street Mass Ave parking fills, event staff will direct you to backup parking locations.

Is there anything I CAN'T bring to the event?

DON'T BRING ALCOHOL! Harvard is a dry town, and there is absolutely no alcohol to be sold, purchased or consumed in the event area. Drinking on the premises jeopardizes the future of the event, and it undermines the credibility of the event and organizer in the eyes of the town and police. So please - just don't drink! Any spectators caught holding and/or consuming alcohol on the event premises will be asked to leave immediately and, if necessary, escorted from the event with no re-entry. Riders caught drinking will be disqualified and similarly asked to leave.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes! Riders will only be eligible to compete in their respective divisions upon presenting a unique, paid ticket. If you are paying for multiple riders, please indicate the names of the other riders in the payment notes.

What is the refund policy?

No refunds. Sorry!
